Greetings from the U.S.,
My great grandparents were born in your village. One was named Stephen Gazdik, born on December 25, 1867 and he married Barbara before they came to America in October 1886. They returned to Hungary in 1900 for a visit. They brought four small children on the visit. They were named Maria, Roza, Margit and Stefan.
I would like to know more about the village. Are there records that might tell me where they were married? And, I wonder if there are any village residents named Gazdik.
I will visit Budapest with my aunt in spring 2016. We do not know if we will come to the village or if such a visit is even possible.
Sorry that I only speak English.
I hope someone can reply.
